Dr. Dave Burnham completed his Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree in 2005, then his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007, both from the University of Alberta. Upon graduation he worked as general dentist in the Bonnie Doon area of Edmonton for 5 years and absolutely loved it. Still hungry to learn more, he elected to return to full time studies at the University of Connecticut for three years. The program entailed extensive didactic, teaching, clinical, and laboratory experience in areas such as implants, dentures, crown and bridge, veneers, materials sciences, etc. On completion of the program he was awarded a Certificate in Prosthodontics, a Certificate in Surgical Implant Placement, and a Masters of Dental Sciences. His research was in the area of satisfaction with CAD/CAM complete dentures, but the experiences gained clinically were varied and extensive.
Since completing his specialty training, Dr. Burnham has been in private practice in South Edmonton.
